How to delete a pre recorded program whilst in play mode

For me to delete a program while in play mode, I have to first Stop or Exit from the recording and then delete the program.

Is there a way I can delete the show whilst it is still running?

I used to be able to do this on the older 9200 series unit.

By the way, I guess there is no automatic way of deleting the top level folder if you delete the one and only child program associated with it?

You can't delete a recording whilst you are playing it.
You may as well just delete the top level folder, which will also delete the contents.
