Home - Settings - System Settings - STB Mode - OK with Change to Non Freesat Mode
Settings - OK on non-freesat - Channel Search - Select Transponder - select User Define and press OK. Enter the parameters from above, Save the details. Left to Save, Select Next and press OK. select start channel search and press OK. You should have Channel 4 HD and 4seven. OK on save channels. The channel number will be determined by what channels you have already added.
Watching Channel 4 HD now on HDR-1000S. Home menu now has option to switch back to Freesat mode.
Sadly you can't record non-freesat on a G2 box. You need a Foxsat-HDR to record.
Perhaps Freesat will get revenge by enabling non-freesat recordings
