Hello. I have a Humax 1000S which does not have a built in hard drive, so I have been using a separate HDD for over a year, and it is now becoming full with programmes I want to keep. My question is, can I simply disconnect it, and plug in a second new HDD to carry on recording? If a second HDD is assigned to the Humax, can I still then disconnect it, and reconnect the original HDD to watch my earlier programmes? Sounds an easy question but I have been unable to find anyone who can confirm as yet, probably my own fault for not buying a larger capacity HDD in the first place! Thanks, John.

Welcome to our Forum
Should not be a problem, no longer have a HB 1000S connected but works with a HB 1100S (same software)
When you swap HDD you may have to assign it for recording again to watch previous recordings.
