Hi, finally my Humax DTR -T1010 has died, after 10 years of great service. But before I replace it I thought I have a look to see if I could see if anything was obviously wrong, as the screen was saying 'Loading'. Had the hard drive checked, and seems this was not working, but this has also taken out the transistor next to power lead for the hard drive. Do have option to replace if I could find out what the component was, but its destroyed. Could anyone have access to a circuit diagram look at their model to see if it has any markings on it? Its bottom component next to the white plug, at the bottom of the picture.

Hello, I experienced the same problem. A short on the hard drive caused the SOT23 component to blew up. The marking on the component is 25D45. I searched online but couldn't find the correct replacement. Have you fixed yours?
