Humax HDR 1010S not recording

    My Humax 1010S stopped recording yesterday, I've tried everything, updated the software , reset to Factory default and follow the pop up window requesting to format the HDD after enter the PIN, it keeps saying " Sorry your disc is not formatted yet, please try again"

    Can anyone help please

    Latest development :
    1, unplug all the cables from the box for 30 mins
    2, connect back cables
    3, plug ethernet cable between the box and PCs
    4, switch on
    5, it says "Start disk format "
    6, enter PIN
    7, it doesn't work, keep repeating "sorry your disc is not formatted yet, please try again"

    Either your HDD or the controller are faulty, if still within warranty you need to contact Humax Support.

    Note: Please only post problems once on forum, and wait for a response from one of our helpful members. It gets a tad confusing for members to see posts appearing in different threads on same subject.

    Just wanted to share this ….
    My 1010S has come back to work again.
    Before I went to work yesterday in the morning, I left the box like this;
    1, unplug all the cables from the box for
    2, disconnected wifi
    3, as soon as I got home from work I put them all back and connected to the wifi

    What a surprise ! All my recordings are present and I can watch them and record programs again.
    I don’t know why after a number of reset to Factory Default in the past 3 days, nothing worked.
    The only thing different is the dis connection of wifi, don’t if this makes sense.
    However, it’s up and running, I’m happy with it.
