ITV HD pixellating

I have noticed for some time now that when watching ITV the picture has momentary breakup, best description would be almost like a negative, or for those old enough to remember like the Daleks victims when they had been zapped -
Latest programme I have seen it on is Home Fires at the weekend, happened an number of times throughout. No problems with signal strength or quality - TBH I just thought it was rubbish bandwidth.I've only seen some problems when the ITV HD picture on screen is quite still (like paused but not) then it can all go a bit blocky for a split second, or like extreme colour banding.
I'm guessing they are using variable bitrate and it just drops too low occasionally, so basically I thought it was rubbish bandwidth too.| Thu 19 May 2016 9:36:43 #12 | -

Grantchester was a lot worse.

Grantchester was a lot worse.Marcella episode 1 was transmitted before ITV fixed the issue. Watched episode 4 last night and it had no issues.

Okay I'll look out for more glitches from ep4 onwards then, hopefully it is fixed.

As you say seems to be fixed now, better late than never, I remember Lewis suffered a lot and that was on in Nov 2015.
