Bear in mind that Freesat viewers of ITV are in the minority compared to those watching on Freeview who are fine so the affect on viewing figures is correspondingly lower. And many Freesat viewers, including me, will make other arrangements rather than miss seeing the programmes they want to see.
That includes me, but so many do not have the alternative choices.

Watch or record the SD simulcast?
Why should owners of Freesat+ pvrs have to record inferior pictures ?
I realise there are workarounds (including manual recordings), none of them should be required.

I think we're talking at cross-purposes. I'm talking about the reasons the ratings aren't likely to dip all that much - users will watch the programmes and be counted, despite the missing ITV1 HD.

Incidentally watching the Cube from last night on AR and series recording. Lost the end

It does also seem extraordinarily incompetent of ITV not to have even clocked that there's a problem.

It seems more incompetent of Freesat if they were to allow this situation to continue....it is their platform that is being made to look bad, compared to their competetors Freeview.

EPG is back

Hoorah, was not there at 8 o'clock when I checked.
Edit:
No SD → HD linkage on HB 1000S though, appears to be OK on Foxsat, will check a HDR 1000S in a moment.

Normal EPG here on my 1010S but still no SD to HD option.

I just received EXACTLY the same, word-for-word, response from ITV as they sent last Friday. However, the EPG is now there and without the need to re-tune my 1010S. As with fixerman though, still no SD to HD option. Lets see how long it lasts!
