Jpeg images upside down

    Hi All, my first post!
    I am able to view video and Jpeg images that are stored in my Qnap hard drive through my FVP-5000T on TV, but some images are upside down or sideways on the TV but not when I view them on the PC, any ideas?

    I will guess that the problematic photos are ones taken on your 'phone? If I recall correctly (not having access to a pc currently) there is an option to automatically orient your pix. There is no such option on the 5000t.

    Yes you may be right I will do some tests portrait/landscape and see how they view

    Embedded in the image is EXIF data which influences how it is displayed. Using an EXIF Editor such as EXIF Pilot you may be able to alter this...

    Hi Pollensa, Thanks that looks interesting, I assume one would only edit the images that are viewed through the 5000T as they are correct on other devices?
