    Hi Everybody,

Just got an HDR-1100s and found that when I turn the TV off the 1100 turns off as well. Is there anyway that the 1100 can be kept on all the time? Also I've loaded up all my fav channels, is there anyway you can change the order they appear in the list?

    Thanks

    Hi welcome to our forum.

The TV turning off the box is down to CEC control which amongst other things other than turning one off when you turn off the other, selects the TV HDMI input when you turn on the box.

A pair of wires in the HDMI cable from the 1100S to the TV controls this action.

Two ways to turn this off.

In the TV setup menu turn off whatever your TV maker calls CEC control.

If for some reason you want to retain CEC control (auto select other hdmi selected kit) you can fit an adaptor that disables the two wires to either end of the hdmi cable used to connect your 1100S to your TV.
