Volume on top box is really low.Can boost with TV control but when reverting to freeview on the TV the sound is deafening. Any solutions please.

There is a volume control on the 9300 (if you are connected to the TV via a SCART lead) which by default is set to half way, could this be your problem.

Are you connecting the 9300T to the TV via SCART or HDMI?

Further to my previous enquiry I now find that my Humax 9300t has No volume at all.

The volume control buttons on the handset are obsolete. Any suggestions Please.

As you have the box in front of you and we don't, you will need to do some detective work, and report back for us to constructively help.

    As per manual:
    • Check that your AV cable is connected correctly.
    • Check the volume levels of your TV set and the product.
    • Check if the product or TV is on mute.
    • Check audio type or soundtrack option in the AV menu.

Please confirm each one as well as whether are you connecting the 9300T to the TV via SCART or HDMI (i.e. Martin's question)?

When you report back on the second bullet point please would you also cover Biggles's question?

The volume control does not work if connected to the TV by HDMI. Not sure what the volume level sent to the TV is via HDMI but I would assume maximum.

Yes, it is maximum via HDMI on a PVR-9300T.
