Loss of record function - 9200T

    i have pvr9200t and i have lost the ability to record, the icon for recording has been replaced with the games icon.any help wouldnt go a miss thanks.

    1. Moved your post to new thread.

    2. Normally associated with the HDD not being detected when booted.

    Either HDD is broken or can sometimes attributal to a loose connection.

    Warning - Disconnect mains supply before attempting any repair.

    You could try removing the lid and checking the HDD connections.

    ok,how do i recognise the HDD connection once the unit is open.thanks

    If you are unsure then it is best to advise not attempting any repair to be honest.

    If the unit has not been moved recently then it is not likely to be the connections, however....

    Try a mains power on/off first see if that fixes the problem, if not then:

    1. Disconnect from mains power
    2. Remove the lid - 3 screws on rear and one each side of unit.
    3. HDD will be obvious, looking from front of unit it is located to the front left and has 2 connectors.
