Lost recordings and now won't record at all

    I have a year old HDR 1000s which has recently lost a load of recordings. Recorded series now show a just one episode and there is only one screen of recordings. I've also now discovered that it won't record either. The HDD shows 51% full so I guess that the recordings are there but just not showing up.
    I've tried a factory reset without success, and the software version is UKSFAA 2.00.05 which updated Dec 2013.
    I don't mind losing what we've got but would just like it working again

    All suggestions gratefully received.

    I had this exact problem with my old Foxsat and could not sort it out so I bought the 1000s.

    Did you buy with the Humax 2 year warranty, if so contact them for a replacement.

    Sounds like disk corruption - try reformatting the disk.
