Maximum thickness of replacement HDD?

    I am considering replacing the HDD in my Humax HDR1100S and I believe I need a 3.5” SATA 3 that is suitable for AV type workload. The AV suitable HDDs I find on the internet seem to be quite thick at 26.1mm: -

    I think I read somewhere that someone had a struggle with fitting an HDD that was too thick so can anyone confirm if 26.1mm is not too thick to fit in the box please?

    If it helps anyone else here is the answer: -

    26mm is too thick for the retaining clip so the HDD I linked will not fit.
