Is there any documentation on media streaming. I’m having a few problems sharing media from my Windows 7 pc. I have set up media sharing according to the various Windows sites. I can see my pc on the “shared server list” but when I select the pc the screen shows “no items”.

Have you shared the folders with content you want to stream ?

Right click on Folder Name in Explorer.

Think I may have a problem with Windows Media Player. Libraries are showing as unresponsive and the troubleshooter shows the libraries as corrupted. Think I need to re-install Windows Media Player.

Found the problem. I was told to turn off Windows search as I have an SSD as my OS. Switched it back on and I can now stream to my Humax HB1000s. So much for Windows 7 performance boosting tips.

Thanks for coming back, your post may well help others. Presumably it's stopping the DLNA database getting updated.

Had exactly the same problem - interesting that even Samsung Magician includes this in the advanced section on optimising the SSD (see pic). This will become an increasing problem as people upgrade to SSD
