My 1010S keeps missing the last minute or two of shows when recording despite the one-hour shows only running for 55 minutes.
Anything I can do about it?

What channels are you referring to?

    Two ways

1 set a manual repeating timer for the problem programme

    2 set auto padding

Gonzo - as far as I remember it was 5USA.
Graham - Was unaware that I could - where do find out how. There is no Users' Manual these days. I've never heard of "auto padding".

    Thanks chaps.

Channel 5 are hopeless at sticking to the schedule and afaik the extra channels don't yet support Accurate Recording.

I use a manual timer for the few Channel 5 programmes I record.

Autopadding - applies to all recordings. It adjusts the start and end times from the scheduled times. It's advantage is that series recording is retained, disadvantage if the programme overruns by more than your end padding the good broadcasters using AR can't extend the recording time automatically

Settings Recording Start padding time, End padding time.

    Manual recording

    Graham,

Many thanks - I've changed the Auto Padding time & now we wait & see.

Top tip is on the days your recording from the likes of channel 5 then it's best to use Manual Padding, 2 mins before & 5 mins after seems to be the norm.
For all BBC, ITV & Ch4's sets of channels setting to Auto should record as expected.
