While trying to select a program to watch on My 5 (The Robson Green walkies prog) using My 5 on the Aura the tv screen went blank. No sound no vision, no visible response other than powering off the Auro. Wait a few minuites and the Aura can be turned on with the remote. Normal service is resumed. Tried it twice more, now as soon as My 5 app is selected the screen goes blank.
I'll investigate further today and check iplayer etc, but first I need to repair my central heating.
I'm guessing that the My 5 app needs an update???

Right ho! Got SWMBO to check it... looks like the Robson Green prog is the problem. Other stuff plays but Episode 1 of his walking program goes to a blank screen.

And CH fixed, motorised valve motor head replaced. Warm now.

I am witnessing same as OP on Aura and a 5000T.

On Aura, pressing Live TV button restores video/audio, but cannot access my5.

Long press (full standby) for a couple of minutes resolves accessing my5 issue, but Robson Green programme problem remains.

Ok ... right ... looks like a more general problem then.
Ah well ... SWMBO will have to wait for the powers that be to magic up a fix.

CH fix well timed ... its snowing here in the Fens.
Big flakes and starting to settle
Good 'cos its Sunday tomorrow and SWMBO wants to build a snowman

    Go settings
    Freeview play preference
    Privacy Policy (t and c)
click done to redo t and c
make sure remote update done on that page while they also.
Then restart box and try My5 upon boot.

Alternatively also can install My5 from google play store on box as a back up but it wont be via freeview play stuff.
