    Hi guya,

I know the HDR1000 does not have the Netflix app and currently there are no plans to add it. I don't have a smart TV or any USB on the TV and am looking for a way to use Netflix on the TV. Is it possible to somehow run the netflix app from a USB stick plugged into the HDR?

    If...
    1) Your TV has a spare HDMI input
    2) You have an Android phone or tablet
    ...you could get Chromecast.

Does your PC have a HDMI or DVI output socket ? If so Netflix will work on your PC.

I don't have any spare input sockets on my tv.

It's a real shame that Netflix isn't an option on the HDR freesat boxes. I didn't think it would be possible using the USB as although I know you can play media from USB, this would somehow have to stream from an app on the USB stick and for the HDR to pick up that stream and that's a whole new ball game. Will have to consider an HDMI hub and a netflix compatible box like the Roku.

    Just use a hdmi switch.
