    Hi there,

I have a strange problem in that I can only access on demand if I disable my security options on my wireless (Sky) router. If I set the security option on Sky's broadband setup page to WPA-PSK, the Humax won't detect the router.

So far, whilst I set the option to WPA-PSK, I have tried a factory reset, then tried to automatically connect via the Network menu, only to receive the message: 'Sorry, no broadband connection has been detected.' I then attempt to connect manually, only to receive the same message. All settings are correct, so I'm somewhat baffled.

    Any ideas?

    Hi welcome to the forum.

Can you try changing the access key to a string of alpha/numeric characters ? If you look around here the box appears to have issues with other characters in the key.

Hi. Thanks for responding so quickly. My current network key is just made up of eight alphabetic upper case characters. I will try changing to four alphabetic and 4 numeric to see if that makes any difference.
