I'm a newbie and not tech minded so please be gentle!
I brought a DVR 1100s box yesterday, we previously had sky. I plugged it in as shown on the set up and selected the hdmi channel on the tv but it continues to say 'no signal'. It's a old lg tv with just one hdmi port. I rang humax who were not helpful and said either the box is faulty or it's your TV's simplink- I asked about the simplink and he just said I'd have to find it on my TV's menu - I can't!
So, I've tried the box on three other TV's in the house - l can only access the start up menu on one of those TV's (which is a newer smart tv) no other tv will show the humax start up menu. I've changed hdmi leads, checked the leads and connections but nothing! Please help!

Not sure if this is the problem, but on a TV where the unit works try changing via:
Picture and Sound
Try changing to 720p and then test unit on the TV's it has not worked on before.Fri 17 Feb 2017 13:34:10 #2 |
