Are there any technical differences\improvements beyond the new case and built-in wi-fi?
My HB-1000S died a while ago and I need to replace it; but it's got a wired ethernet connection, so if there's nothing beyond cosmetics (it lives in a cupboard so that isn't important!) and wi-fi I might was well save the money and get the older model.
The changes I stated in post #1 incl the edit are all I have been made aware of.
