From my favourite recliner, I can see right under the machine and through to the wall behind! No LED light is visible at all! I've come up with a very easy, low tech solution, which I'll post under an appropriate title.

I thought I'd give an update on this topic. Three years later, there have been no further crashes. I try to avoid the 2TB disc getting more than two-thirds full, which might help. Lots of other idiosynchrases, of course: glitch-free software is not Humax's strength!
