channels.db is 99 KB..
I then did the telnet and inserted your command and got a list starting with 5143 :DAYSTAR etc etc and it had a large number of entries ending with 5440 : 1441 : 4741 more numbers and then Radio as the last.

OK then it looks like the channels in freesat mode (starting from 101 for BBC1 etc.) are not in the web-interface channels database for some reason.
Can I check if you are using the web-if channeleditor plug-in? (it has a function which can be used to reset the web-interface channels database)
yes I am using the plug-in
thanks - then in the channeleditor plug-in page there is a yellow button "Import data from Foxsat". Can you please try pressing this to re-import the machine's live channels list into the web-interface channels database. And then press "Save changes".
That may fix the problem on the epg screens. If not then could you please enter the "sqlite3..." command in telnet again and post back what the output is.
If that hasn't fixed it then we will have to dig a bit deeper, but we will get there!
did all that, but epg still has the same error, I also did the telnet command and got the same results as before.
Sorry pressed enter too quickly.....I was going to suggest now manually recreating channels.db, but in case that can be avoided - would it be possible for you to upload a zipped copy of your /opt/epg/channels.db file so I can take a look? (It contains the default channels list and any custom changes you have made with the channel editor)
If that isn't possible then let me know and we can re-create channels.db manually. Thanks
Attached is my zipped file
didn't like 7z, here is zip version
hmmm doesn't seem to like zip either, any ideas?
Yes - first enter some text, then locate the the file then use the upload button.
