New software version (1.00.40) some new boxes?

I have read else where that some boxes shipped via Humax direct have been shipped with updated version of software (1.00.40). Can this version be down loaded from any where for existing users?

What's the point? As far as I know it only fixes a WiFi issue for the 1010s.
