    Following on from Martin's post, out of interest I have just checked to see if my 5000T recordings (all HD) can be viewed on a HDR-FOX-T2 which does have a DTC-IP IP DLNA client.

    What about the other way round (ie will the FVP play HD content from the HDR-FOX)?

    I can't really test that as the HDR-FOX-T2 has the custom firmware on board so all the recordings are encryption free.

    Yes it will play the HDR-FOX-T2 recordings whether it would if they were encrypted, not a clue.
