I’ve joined this forum to help others who have been caught in the ‘No Signal Or weak signal’ circle. For about the last year sometimes when turning on the Humax 5000T box, it’s come up with the ’No Signal’ alert. Strange as my other tv has been fine. I’ve scurried around the attic checking mast head amp, changed co ax plugs. Still the problem sporadically persisted which was why I was convinced it was a loose connection. When I put the aerial straight into the tv, no problem. I called up Humax who went through everything I’d already done, suggested factory reset which helped a bit but picture still froze and broke up. I was on the verge of buying a new box as helpline didn’t suggest the problem might be too strong a signal, the opposite of the on screen alert. Bought from Toolstation an attenuator, problem solved!
