    Hello all,

New user here trying to maximise my use of the 1100S Box.

I have a system with Philips TV, Humax STB, Panasonic DVD and Marantz receiver inputs. So would prefer to use a universal remote. I've chosen the One for All Smart Control 5 remote, and pretty much figured everything out BUT, I am finding it impossible to use the learning feature to learn the LIST function on the Humax.

This is almost a showstopper for me, as I would prefer to filter my Freesat channels, particularly for favourites. So I am trying to get my One for All remote FAV button to learn the LIST button from my Humax remote. Well it doesn't work (I am aware that you have to be in the full guide of the EPG). I have checked the correct code for the Humax to work with the remote, which is 2443.

At a loss at what to do next. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Hello RichardH,

Welcome to the forum. I don't have the same one for all model, but I can get mine to use the fav. Button for programming my Humax 1100s to work ok EPG/list function to be able to show favourites menu. When you use the learn feature are you allowing enough time for the 2 remote controls to copy button data from original to the one for all remote? I have had to programme each button by learning mode, due to remote being set on another Humax mode number as I have several bits of Humax equipment in same room. Works ok for me.

Could also be that you have reached maximum buttons on remote memory. Be interested to know if you solve problem. John L

    Hi John,

I'm pretty certain the One for All remote is learning the code or at least reading them as the remote flashes twice when it has done so.

I only have 2 other buttons learned, which surely hasn't filled up the memory.

    No luck as yet.

That's very strange. I use the URC 7145 model and have programmed the "fav" button to use the Humax "list" button. Mine works fine.

Not sure if your model may function differently. I have programmed my "list" button on one for all to work with recordings button on Humax. Hope you get it sorted. Maybe do a reset on device function and have another go? John L

I'll give the remote a reset tomorrow.

Unfortunately, still not working, even after a remote reset.

    Hi RichardH,

What a shame. Maybe contact One for all for advice? If all your other programmed learning functions have worked ok & setup in same method, this should also work. John L

Hi RichardH, see the following page:

    https://www.oneforall.com/en-gb/support/faq/urc7955-urc7980-how-can-i-program-missing-function-my-smart-control

Follow the instructions on their website to program the new function.
The 5 digit key codes for SAT code 2443 are as follows:

This allows you to assign code 00296 to any single key to convert that key into a "List" key.
You can assign any feature to any key with the exception of the DEVICES, ACTIVITY, or Magic keys.

One for All advised me that programming extra keys this way is better than "learning" from your old remote because this method uses less memory within the One for All remote allowing you to change more keys.

    Hi Paul_D,

That's really useful to know! Does that work with their other smart remotes? I use the urc7145 with my Humax 1100s. My memory has run out adding any extra buttons for other devices due to using up memory for learning mode for each button on humax. I couldn't get the remote to work with codes from one for all due to using another Humax remote mode number. Maybe this may work?John L
