    Hi,
My HDR 1000S stopped working tonight reporting a weak signal. There is no TV guide and no comment next to the signal strength meters under settings.
If I switch the stb to non freesat mode, I get a signal reading - reported as OK and when I search for channels I see lots of non sky programs.
I also tried a factory reset but that made no difference to the symptoms.
My first thought was that the high winds we've just had have knocked the dish out slightly, but now I'm not so sure.
    Could the HDR be faulty?

    Welcome to the Forum

Your guess of dish alignment sounds correct, the unit is probably not receiving the freesat home transponder.

    Hi Barry,

Thanks for the welcome and the quick response.
Looks like I'll be on the roof soon!

Totally agree with the comments elsewhere on the forum about managing the non freesat channels.
    Very clunky.

    Thanks again.

I looked at the dish this afternoon and it all looked pretty solid to me, so after substituting an old lnb I had hanging around I've found it's the 4 way lnb that's faulty.
Ordered another one for £9. Bargain.
