While the Aura has it's issues I'm still contemplating getting one from Amazon as I can return it easily if I can't get on with the 'issues'.

My question is can you use an android phone to control the Aura box - i.e. same as you would using the supplied remote control?
I know it's very lazy but we have 3 youview remote controls in our lounge so where ever we sit one is close at hand.
Can't seem to find any info - I use my phone with my FoxSat HRD and Raydons Custom Firmware and that's great.

Is it possible to use an android phone to change channels, use the guide, set recordings etc?
    Cheers

There is an app for the Aura which will let you set recordings but I suspect it won't let you change channels other than to play recordings on the phone. Maybe someone who has more experience with the app can comment.
