Hi, trying to view jpg photos on my HDR 1100S but although it can see my files it says the format is unacceptable. Photos are 816 x 612 pixels. I'm wondering if it is because of filename? Is there a limitation on permissible name or number of alpha-numerica letters? I transfered them to my Humax HDD in the photos folder. Is that a problem?

What is a typical file size for the photos?

File size and name length all seems perfectly reasonable to me. Do the photos open on other devices?

I think I know the reason now, Martin? Do I need to write a short program with the folder to enable it to play? Where do I do that & put it, please? And, any suggestions what to write & the format? Also, if I rename the photos filenames in the right format e.g. 1,2,3,4,etc. will the Humax play them in the right order?

So go on tell us the reason please. Have you found something on the Internet; if so please share the link.

I read something on Humax about the need for a piece of programming for the viewing facility to work, but can't recall just where. But, I assumed you would know if it was necessary? Is it?
