Have 9200T and Sony Triniton KD-28DL11U (CRT). 9200 is great, enjoyed for years BUT have one problem. When I switch from TV to PVR there is always a significant reduction in picture size both for live TV emission or recorded program. Same regardless of which picture format is used on TV. So any subtitles or text on screen bottom are cut. Score on Match of the day is cut from top! Tried every possible function on TV and PVR without finding a solution. On TV remote can "push" picture up and down with arrow buttons but sacrifices the top or bottom; overall size unchanged. Anyone know a way to resize the picture coming from the PVR? Mike.

I suppose it silly of me to ask if you've tried setting both the 9200T to 16:9 and the TV to 16:9 aspect ratios?

Certainly the starting point should be to set the 9200 to 16:9 and then sort out the problem with the TV controls.

Sounds as though you have zoomed in to a 14:9 picture on analogue TV and it has retained the zoom on switching to the humax. If the TV was not zoomed you would not be able to move the picture up and down - at least from my experience of Sony TVs.
set the humax to 16:9 and zoom out on the TV.

Many thanks to all 3 of you. Yes you were all correct. I had the Display format on the 9200 as 4:3 How dumb of me! Changed to 16:9 which generated "Auto". Everything now perfect again, including old recordings of course. Supreme test: Match of the Day to see text at top and bottom. 100%. Long live myhumax.org missed the old hummy...
