Spent the afternoon swapping TVs and Humax boxes as the recording Humax box has a lot of pixelating going on. Initially thought might be the 2 connexions but it's not as having tried both leads from satellite with other Humax non-recording box they work fine with no pixelation. Swapped TVs and it's still pixelating with recorder. Does this mean the box is kaput or is there something I can do to rectify problem. I'm a complete technophobe (female). Cheers

Welcome to our Forum
Which Humax product?
Is it live TV pixelating and/or your recordings via the same unit?

In almost all cases a problem like this is down to the f connectors not making proper contact. This can be down to the use of the much thinner WF65 coax, where the centre core that sticks out of the f connector is much thinner than 100 grade coax. Some boxes might make contact others don't. Try putting a small kink in the core and connect again.
