    Hi Guys,

This is a serious problem (coz it stops my wife recording her favourite presenters on Hochanda).

She looks through the "Now and Next" mini TV guide and picks what she wants to watch (as you do) for the days ahead.

Sometimes (and it seems to be happening more often recently) programs "fail" and she is disappointed.

After further investigation, she has now noticed that some programs that are on her "planned recordings" screen don't have the "R" on the Now and Next mini TV guide and if she tries to recorder them again, it won't let her.

So with even more investigation it appears that the description of the program is different on the Planned Recordings screen compared to the Now and Next screen.

I believe Hochanda is putting programs onto the TV guide and then going back and changing the details, which is stopping the recordings.

    Does that sound possible?

Surely the Humax should still record the program even though there is a change of "info"?

Can I do anything about it?

Sorry it's all a bit long winded, but I couldn't explain it any simpler.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

P.S. She's going to try some on our Sky Plus Box and see what happens.

You could set a manual recording reservation.

    Recordings - Planned - Right - Right

    Fill in the details

    Hi Graham,
    Thanks for that info.
Never done a manual recording on the Humax.
Just a quickie before I tell Julie, can it be set to repeat the same recording every day?
    Regards,
    Paul

Yes daily is one of the repeat options, unlike the earlier boxes every weekday isn't an option.
