Hi,I seem to have a poor picture on my 1100s compared to the Freesat picture coming from my Panasonic TV tuner. Just looks so drab compared to modern day television pictures. Does anybody have any suggestions as to why it so bad? Thank you in advance for your replies. Mike.

No problems with my HB-1000S, essentially the same hardware, I have picture output set to 1080p. Also look at the TV settings for that HDMI port.

As Repassac says, most likely down to the TV settings for the HDMI port used. Excellent picture using my HDR-1000S.

Thank you for your replies. My TV is a Panasonic G20B, which has 4 HDMI ports. I cannot see any TV settings for the HDMI either in the manual or on the remote menu. The picture reminds me of my old CRT TV. Any other thoughts as to what it could be? Mike.

Turn off any frame doubling and other so called picture enhancements.
