Michele, I just wanted to point out that saterllite signals will change over time with new launches bringing more UK focused beams. (Next launch of Astra 2F is in September and this will being service, I imagine, by the end of the year). Always judge the signal in bad weather conditions (Heavy rain) as this will greatly reduce signal quality.

I will be moving in teh spring and I will be putting up a large disk that I have now to give a large margin (but I might need to reduce the signal a bit at first which is easy)

The postcode is only required to allocate channels with regional variations to the freesat EPG. To use the box with other satellites requires the box to be operated as a generic free to air receiver no post codes are used.

If the box is a Foxsat HDR then the custom firmware will allow viewing of non freeway channels without leaving freeway mode.

The foxsat has some issues with motorized dishes (USALS)

    Welcome to the forum.

thought I had answered that, no postcode needed for FTA channel reception
