I have just purchased the Humax 4000t my problem is that I cannot alter the power off timer which shuts off after 3hours it says to press any key to stop shut down but it does nothing and continues to turn off which is very annoying when in the middle of a program so have to switch on again which takes so long I have missed what I was viewing also the volume will not go higher at top volume it is not loud enough so I have to use my TV remote to boost the volume very frustrated

    Welcome to our Forum

    Apologises for the delayed response.

Try pressing the OK button when the 'auto switch off' pop up appears, works for me.

Is switching auto power down off all together an option for you?

    From the user guide:

Press the HOME button. Select SETTINGS and then System Settings.
    Power Management
    • Automatic Power Down: Select On to enter standby mode automatically if no user interaction occurs for 3 hours.

Confused as the 'auto power down pop up' I see on the FVP 4000T does not state press any key?

The Youview HD boxes' message is 'any key'. I wonder of the youview ultra-hd T4000 message is also 'any key'.

Do you have the 4000T or the T4000?

If you have the T4000 you can delay auto power off for 12 hours instead of just a few hours.
