I'm not able to record BBC2 HD at the same time as ITV HD. I'm on the Sutton Coldfield transmitter. When I look at the signal test it shows ok for tuner 1 but tuners 2 and 3 show 0 for both strength and quality - is that normal?

I selected to record a programme and there is already a programme set to record with time overlap on another channel

I selected to record a programme and there is already a programme set to record with time overlap on another channelThat doesn't really help understand what you are doing and what the error message or FVP_4000T response is.
It would help if you could describe step by step how you are attempting to set the second recording and what the immediate response from the FVP-4000T at each step.

Hi Martin, Thanks for the reply. Are you saying that it is not possible to record two channels simultaneously that are are on the same multiplex? If so, what is the point of having 3 tuners?

Luke, I was in the programme guide and selected record from the remote (I pressed the red button) The response was to show 2 clashing programmes at the bottom of the screen allowing me to cancel one of them.

Are you saying that it is not possible to record two channels simultaneously that are are on the same multiplex?I most certainly am not saying that. You should most definitely be able to record two programs from the same multiplex; the point I was making was that they will share a single tuner so your question about signal strength on other tuners is irrelevant.

Luke, I was in the programme guide and selected record from the remote (I pressed the red button) The response was to show 2 clashing programmes at the bottom of the screen allowing me to cancel one of them.That does sound odd. If both the cancellation offers were the same MUX, what MUX was the third programme on - the one you were trying to set?
I wonder - is there a limitation on simultaneous or overlapping timers, in addition to the natural limit defined by the number of tuners?

With no recordings going on. ( First check no channels in the 800's ) See
https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/4000t-some-but-not-all-recordings-corrupted
With multiple transmitters you may be using different mux for channels which are actually on the same Mux on SC. Hence two tuners.
The following should work.
Goto channel 1 start a recording
Goto channel 3 start a recording
Goto 102 start a recording
Goto 104 start a recording
$ recordings across 3 mux.
