A lot of my recordings are starting 5 minutes late. This means that I miss the intro to the program. I've just noticed the 5 min delay this past week or so.

I have noticed a start delay on the Pottery Throw Down on Ch4, but nothing else. Maybe it is only Ch4 getting the start signal wrong. I don’t regularly watch anything else on Ch4.

The last five programs have all started 5min (exactly) late.
    ch19 20.00, ch5 21.10, itv3 23.55, itv4 6am, itv4 6.30am.

Today, I have factory reset it.

Factory reset seems to have fettled it! The last 6 recordings have all started within 1 or 2 minutes.
BUT, when I switched on this morning, for a couple of seconds the picture was washed out & "pinky". Then it switched off & restarted as if I had unplugged it. Then, it had no sound, so I had to unplug it.
    All seems OK now.

Humax have replaced it. Faulty recordings are caused by the HDD. Formatting was unsuccessful.

Mine is doing exactly the same thing - starts 5 mins late but ends slightly early too. I’ve tried “check new software” from the system information menu so will see if that works. Are there any risks with doing a factory reset?

All that you will have to do after a factory reset is to set up the Humax again, & set up your schedule. All your recordings are safe.
A factory reset didn't do me any good, so I tried for a HDD format. That didn't work either.
    My probs are:
Misses scheduled recordings, even those on series link.
Starts recordings late, so the beginning is missed.
Finishes early so ending is missed
Sometimes records for just one minute
Recording will end together, at the same time, blaming “loss of power”
It will miss a recording on series link, but program it for the next week.
Can’t format the HDD because of “unknown fault”
Can’t even copy recordings to USB, so that I can use them on my next machine.
Replacing the HDD has been mentioned, but that may not work.
