On a weekly basis - a Wednesday - my PVR fails to respond to the remote. I am unable to change channels, alter the sound, record or any function at all. Day before and day after are both okay as are all other days of the week - but not Wednesday ! Any advice to overcome this problem ?

On a weekly basis - a Wednesday - my PVR fails to respond to the remote.The usual reason for this problem is that the box is running an old version of the software so I think the starting point is for you to tell us the software version number and the system ID.
