PVR5000T Fatal Error

    I have a PVR5000T purchased just before Christmas. At seemingly random intervals it displays the following message on the TV screen:

    fatal error

    Nothing happens and everything continues to work. Anybody have any idea of the reason for the message and how to get rid of it?

    I have never seen a post before relating to UK Humax Kit with such a message. Has it done this from when you purchased it. Has anyone else on the forum seen such a message?

    That said it is always worth checking your signal quality and strength.

    I suggest you search for the message along with your TV make and model as it could be from the TV. You can also check if you have the latest TV firmware.

    I have never seen it.
    I am of the mind that it's a TV generated message, most probably related to hdmi resolution issues.
