New to the forum and stumped! I have two PVR9300Ts. One works fine and always has. The second one freezes at the same time each week - Wednesday at 10am. I do a default reset, it works until the next Wednesday at 10 and freezes. Very frustrating. Anyone out there have any idea of why it does this and what I do to stop it? TomT

Martin - Thank you for picking this up. The Humax that works well has the following on "System":
Software Version UPTTF1.0026
Loader a4.37
System ID 3023.0000
Update date July 7, 2011The Humax that freezes on Wednesdays at 10am:
Software Version UPTTF 1.00.19
Loader a4.38
System ID 3023.0000
Update date Mar 8, 2010Both are set for automatic updates, but I don't know if that actually happens.

Update date Mar 8, 2010OK so that is the problem. Does the 9300 that freezes get put into standby overnight? The System ID is correct. Your options are to wait for the next OTA update or spend a few pounds on a cable and USB to serial adapter to apply the update from a PC.

Martin -
I have waited over a month for the 9300 software to reappear on the website, but without any luck. How do I go about downloading what I need from my PC and installing it on the rogue Humax? You mention a cable - what do I need to get? I have a variety of cables in a box of bits - maybe I actually have what I need.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

If you have a computer with a serial port then you only need a serial cable otherwise you need a USB to serial converter as well. I suggest you read the flash9200 page and then come back with questions.
