Thanks for your post Graham. I followed your instructions (accurately I think) and at the end I couldn't get 999 from the epg, though did get a screen telling me how good Freesat is, should I get more? On Channel 103, ITV HD
Settings Signal info tells me that both Tuner 1 & 2 have no signal.
All other Channels are working normally.
We live in NW Spain and can get good reception almost all weather, except VERY heavy rain on a 1.8m dish.
Reluctant to check cables at lnb as have to use a small scaffold tower to reach it.
Anything else I can try to isolate the problem?

ITV-HD has changed the Forward Error Correction from 3/4 to 2/3. This increases the transponder capacity but makes the signal less robust. Guessing that's why you have lost it.
This caught out some Panasonic TV models that the spec said supported 2/3 and did not. Some took Panasonic to court over this. If you do a google search you should some threads about this.
Can you still watch the ITV-SD variant on lcn 977.
The other HD channels in this list still use 3/4
If you can get these it confirms the theory

999 Freesat Info 11427 H
999 is not a channel it's just a data stream with Freesat info. It is though on the Freesat home transponder. Without access to this you can't do a freesat re-tune. It's a easy way to check that the home transponder is available. It used to be on a PAN- Europe beam but was moved to a UK spot beam. So harder to get in Iberia.
Best to ask locally perhaps a local dish erector. You may need an even larger dish.
