    still pretty poor that humax don't provide a simple screensaver though.

    I guess it's down to the relatively small number of LCD and PLasma TV's left. You could always turn down the screen brightness. However even a cheap bluetooth speaker is likely to give you better sound compared to the speakers in flat screen TV's.
