When I record anything,the recording is finishing before the proramme has finished, and I am missing the last couple of minutes each time. Help please?

Hi welcome to the forum, to help you better you need to provide more information such as:
What box are you using?
What recording settings are you using?
Are you using Accurate Recording?
Are theses instant recordings or set as single or series links in advance via the guide?
Which channels are you recording from?

Sorry,
I have a HDR 1000 freesat box,
I just record direct off the tv guide,is there another way?

You can also set manual recordings. However do you have any padding set to start and stop of recordings ? Which channels are you having issues with ?

Padding start and finish times are set on auto.I don't know offhand if I have problems with any particular channels.

I don't find many issues with the main BBC and ITV channels. Can you quote some affected recordings on the off chance someone else has recorded the same programme.
