    Hi all

We bought a Humax Aura 2TB Smart Freeview 4K TV Recorder, to replace our older version. When we tape a programme you previously could see a red icon in the TV guide reminding you that it will be recording, now on this new unit this does not appear.

    Anybody else found this issue?

    Regards Damien

There should be an icon (not red) consisting of an R in a circle.

Yes I know there should be, but for some reason it doesn’t appear on this new unit. I wonder if this is a glitch with this newer model ?

I would check you’re not receiving signals from multiple transmitters. If you are the R might be appearing next to a different version of the channel.

If not, then let us know a couple of examples of channel and programme and we’ll try to set a recording to see if the R appears.

A common mistake is to set a reservation on an HD channel but then look at the equivalent SD channel in the guide.
