I've noticed in the last few days where a film is split by the news or something else, it only records the first part, not the second.
I'm having to record both parts, when previously I didn't.

Channel 5 are the worst offenders for this, though not exclusively so. The wife set a film to tape on the True Christmas channel the other day. Halfway through there was a break for 'Sony Film news'. Part 2 of the film did not record.
It goes without saying that somehow 'it was all my fault'.

Yes, The Christmas channel was the main culprit, but fortunately they repeat the same films over and over again, so I was able to re-schedule it.
I'm waiting for "If You Believe" to be shown this year starring a ten year-old Hayden Panattiere. You could tell she'd make the transition from child actress, to an adult star. Many don't
