I have a humax aura & am currently in Spain. I record programs/films while in uk & watch them on 12v in my motorhome while in Spain.
I have been watching some programs/films & suddenly the screen has a revolving circle( like a computer) then the recording stops & goes to channels, when I select the recording again, it has no memory & I have to fast forward to the same point & watch. I watch go 20mm half hour & the same thing happens

Could it be your power source not being consistent and a break in power making the Aura reboot without memory.

Not to sure, I have 2 batteries & 2 solar panels running the batteries. I have a 2000 watt solar charger ( that usually I run the tv, sound bar & humax box off) that is charged on its own solar panels back to 100%. So I am not to sure. The tv & sound bar works perfectly, but when we have the humax at home sometimes it has the circle rotating for a few seconds but then it’s ok.
Many thanks, something to think about

I get this and when it starts doing it, it does it every morning when we turn it on. A quick rescan of channels sorts it for a few months normally. I blame, for no informed reason, Freeview for tweaking the channels so you moving it to Spain maybe a similar thing.

Try doing a channel rescan, then do another when you get home.

The problem is I can not re scan for channels as I am in Spain in my motor home. I am using the box as a storage device for recorded programs that we watch at night, till we get back to the uk & record for next years travels to Spain

My reasoning is if the box is getting confused when Freeview change things it may be getting confused with the move. If you do a scan where you are it will find no channels but it will know it has no channels and hopefully not get confused looking for channels that aren’t there.

Then when you get home do another rescan and put them back. Only a suggestion that may or may not work.

If the Aura has worked in the past when going abroad then this is probably not the answer.

I can rescan & get Spanish channels( I have done it by accident), I just don’t rescan, so when I get home plug it in & all my uk channels are still there
