For some time now, when the box records certain programmes on BBC One HD (I THINK it’s only one that channel), it records two copies simultaneously – one from BBC One HD, and one from BBC One Wales or Scotland. What should I do please? Thank you

PS it has been unplugged several times during this time...

It's a broadcaster series recording code screw up.

If you never want to record BBC 1 HD from Wales or Scotland simply delete both from your epg.

Are you sure both recordings are the same episode ?

Yeah they're both recorded simultaneously, and are the same episode. I don't think I have those channels in my EPG...?

    Thanks

AAAAH, yes I have. Deleted as suggested - thanks again

The only problem with deleting channels is you never know when you might want them. Example - I recently watched the excellent 'Hinterland' which is a BBC Wales production and was months ahead of it's national showing on BBC Four.

BBC Scotland often has some good stuff on too which never even makes it nationally.
