    Hi

The red button on BBC seems to work on the odd occasion but most times doesn't.

If I press red button on either the SD or HD it doesn't make any difference.

Same for pressing the TEXT button.

I have channel 301 and 105 in my channel listing. If I manually change to either of those channels I just get a blank screen.

    All other channels working fine.

    Any ideas?

It Was working on the HD channels during the Olympics, so perhaps it is a BBC issue.

OK. I accept Red button may or may not work on HD channel depending on what the BBC is promoting but for me it doesn't work on any BBC SD channel either ! Ideas?

Also, extra bit of info, if I switch source from HDMI1 back to DTV and use the red button on the TV built-in freeview it works everytime. So to my mind it isn't a signal issue - it's something particular to the Humax box.

You are not alone. I have had NO TEXT on my HDR FOX T2 twice now in six months. First I thought it was due to the recent channel retune when I had to retune the whole machine, but happened again yesterday. There was no text on any channel, BBC or ITV.
I checked on another Freeview TV and all were available.
Tried going to standby and on again, still no text.
Switching mains off then restarting and text OK. It seems there is a software error. On screen displays epg info etc display Ok
