Reload Software from Scratch

Hi,

I have a HDR1000s and its been fine for ages, but then... It stopped recording and the hardrive disappeared, then lost ondemand (just keeps saying on demand is loading), and then it freezes if I scroll past showcase, meaning I have to reboot the box.

Recently the hardrive has started working and I have just updated the latest software as of 21-4-16, but still I am having the same issues. I am sure its a software fault, so can you re-install the software or revert back to manufacture settings (I have tried the factory default in the settings menu, buts in not really a factory default).

Any advice welcome as its about to be thrown out the window....

Hi welcome to our forum. Latest sofware is in fact UKSFAA 3.0.31 Update 30 Mar 2016. Your box should have updated to this very recently. However the release will not fix the hard drive issue. Try removing the power connector to the unit overnight.

Yes that's the software I updated to. I have tried leaving it unplugged for a couple of days but no luck.
