I wonder if anyone here can help. I have emailed Humax twice but they don't seem to want to reply. I started off with a single LNB and one sat feed. I have upgraded to a dual outlet LNB with two cables to the box. The signal strength meter shows two inputs when recording one channel and viewing another. However the box states only one cable is connected. I have tried both cables on sat input one, both give a signal. When either cable is connected to sat two input no signal. Is this a fault with the box?
I guess I can record one channel and view another because they are from the same transponder. Sometimes get the message 'cannot change channels whilst recording'. Are the problems linked? Has anyone else had problems with Humax their support seems to be abysmal.

Did you do a factory reset after connecting the second cable. The box detects the number of cables during the install routine. You won't get a signal in diagnostics for tuner 2 unless you force it to be used to record but it should say 2 cables at the bottom.
Welcome to the forum.
